About the TV Guide

We list official broadcasters and link to them. We never stream matches.

What this is

Rugby Central TV Guide tells you when a rugby match kicks off, in your own time zone, and which official broadcaster shows it in your country. We send you to that broadcaster's own website. We do not show matches, we do not host video, and we do not link to unofficial streams. Scores are never shown.

Sources policy

A broadcaster is listed only when an official or established source names it for that country and the current season: the competition's own where-to-watch page (when it shows a date inside the season), a union or league page, the broadcaster's own announcement, a stock-exchange announcement, or established trade press (SportBusiness, SportsPro, Sportcal, Sports Video Group, Advanced Television, Broadcast, TVBEurope).
Fan sites, betting sites, "free stream" sites, piracy sites and Wikipedia are never used.
If no source names a holder, we say No broadcast listed. If two sources disagree, we list nothing for that country and competition.
Every listing is stored with its source and the date we checked it. Listings older than 45 days are hidden until they are checked again.

What the labels mean

Listed for [region]: the source names a region that contains your country (for example Asia or Africa), not your country on its own.
Listed for rest of world: the source says "all other territories" and names no other holder for your country.
Source updated [date]: the date shown on the source page itself, when it shows one.
All matches / Selected matches: shown only when the source says so. Otherwise we do not guess.
Free: the broadcaster's service is free to the viewer. Others need a payment or subscription.
On now: matches that kicked off in the last 100 minutes and are not marked finished. We do not have a live feed, so this is based on kickoff time.

Time zones

Kickoff times are shown in your browser's time zone (or the one you choose), plus the UK, South Africa, New Zealand and US Eastern. All conversions use real time zones, so daylight saving changes are handled correctly.

Rugby Central TV Guide is an independent guide from WebNest Creations. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, union or broadcaster listed.
Team, competition and broadcaster names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Club crests are shown only where our data source provides one; national flags are from the open-source flag-icons set (MIT licence, © 2013 Panayiotis Lipiridis). We show no broadcaster logos.
Broadcast availability and rights change often. Always check the broadcaster's own site for the latest information. We cannot guarantee that a listing is complete or current.
Links marked "Go to" open the broadcaster's website in a new tab. We do not control those sites.
Privacy: we set no cookies on normal visits and use no third-party analytics. We do count how many different people visit each day: from your IP address we make a one-way scrambled code that is new every day and cannot be linked from one day to the next, and we use it only to count unique visitors; the address itself is never stored, and the count is private (we never show a counter). Your country and time zone choices are kept only in your browser's local storage. If you send a tip with "Tell us where to watch", we store the channel and link you typed, your email only if you give one (to reply about that tip), and a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address (never the address itself) to limit spam; we use it only to check the tip, and nothing you send is shown on the site until we have checked it. Fonts are served from this site (Barlow, SIL Open Font License); club crests load from our data provider's image server.
